Life is an Experiment the more you make the better I've started to observe that life is truly an endless series of a small experiments. In the words of Canadian filmmaker David Cronenberg "Everybody’s a mad scientist, and life is their lab. We're all trying to experiment to find a way to live, to solve problems, to fend off madness and chaos." Considering what we and the world are going through right now, have you considered that you are indeed the scientist of your own life? |

Waking Up Sydney With Kindness A new initiative by Jono Fisher
Don't be startled if you're struck by a random act of kindness soon. As a Sydneysider, you're well within a new generosity experiment zone. Wake Up Sydney! "scientists" invite you to plant simple seeds, like bake a cake and leave it at work, send an inspiring book to someone, drop a movie voucher in your neighbour's letterbox, or leave flowers for a colleague. You do it anonymously and leave a Kindness Card behind inviting the recipient to do the same to keep the ripple flowing. Jono Fisher, founder of the Kindness Card experiment and Wake Up Sydney! - a new series of evenings and events to entertain, renew and inspire - is setting the stage for what he hopes to accelerate Sydney as the global hub of kindness, consciousness and sustainability. Each Wake Up Sydney! evenings explores themes such as sustainability, artistry, fair trade, wellness, conscious capitalism, ecology, media and generosity. Amongst a background of live music, organic chocolates, inspirational short films, artistry and silent meditation. Whilst the Sydney launch event on 1 April sold out well in advance, there are more planned for May and June, so visit the Wake Up Sydney! website to join to kindness revolution, get your kindness cards, watch inspiring videos and be kept up to date with the next events. Pay-it-forward; unsolicited good goes a very long way. More Information:For more information about the Wake Up Sydney! initiative and the Kindness Cards, please visit www.wakeupsydney.com.au |
